Labor fight leaves union members sore - at union
A nine-month dispute between the Service Employees International Union and eight Minnesota hospitals is nearing an end, though the battle scars will be felt by both labor and management. The two sides announced a tentative agreement Thursday. No one is releasing details, but the SEIU local is recommending that its 3,300 working members approve it in a vote Wednesday. However, some workers have openly questioned the tactics used by both sides throughout the dispute.
