Labor seeks show of force in South Africa strike
In a show of support for striking civil servants, South African labor leaders declared they would shut the country down by joining the public workers' fight for a 10 percent wage increase. The announcement comes as the civil servants' strike reaches the two week mark, already causing havoc in South African hospitals, schools and public offices. Tens of thousands of workers are expected to march in over a dozen cities across the country Wednesday in a support of the public workers strike.
