Labor Spells Out Tax Avoidance Package Targeting Multinationals
In Australia, laws are scheduled to come into effect that will reduce the amount that companies can deduct when filing their taxes. This law is a result of complaints that multinational corporations do not pay enough taxes and Australian companies are forced to pay the majority of them. This will prevent companies from sending as much of their profits overseas.
