Labor Unrest Disrupts Transport Services in Portugal
Next month, pilots employed by the national airline in Portugal have planned to participate in a 10 day strike. This announcement comes after a recent strike conducted by railway workers that caused services to be cancelled. These strikes are the result of news that more transportation services in Portugal will become privatized. The airline currently faces approximately a billion dollars of debt.
