Employees who were laid off are transitioning their focus to smaller mid-sized firms when job searching. Smaller companies lack name recognition but still provide meaningful work opportunities. Workers are also broadening their search to various industries and sectors that are in need of talent. These companies have a demand for tech skills and are excited to hire top talent coming from big tech companies to fill these roles.
