Laundry Workers Get Hahn's Help in Living Wage Suit
Employees of the nation's largest uniform supply company are claiming that they were not paid the mandated Los Angeles' living wage. Backed by UNITE (Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees), the workers are filing a lawsuit against the company demanding back pay. The workers have also received support from Los Angeles Mayor James K. Hahn who spoke out in support of the living wage ordinance at a City Hall rally.
