Law aids breast-feeding moms at work
A new Indianapolis law will make it easier for new moms to continue to breastfeed after they return to work. Under the new statute, workplaces would be required to provide a private cubicle or room for moms to pump breastmilk and a cool place to store it. Proponents say the law will result in better care for infants, as well as savings for employers in lower worker turnover and absenteeism. The law is scheduled to go into effect on July 1st.
