Liberian Healthcare Workers Call off Ebola Strike
On Wednesday, healthcare workers treating Ebola patients in Liberia called off the strike that began this past Monday. The workers in a statement announced that the strike was called off on ?humanitarian grounds?, as it gained little support from the community. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that there may be between 5,000 and 10,000 new Ebola cases a week by December of this year.
