Liberia?s Attempt to Contain Ebola hit as Health Workers go on Strike
On Monday, healthcare workers in Liberia threatened to walk off the job if they did not receive a pay increase. These workers are tasked with caring for patients infected with the deadly Ebola virus. At least 2,300 of the infected 4,000 live in Liberia. Health care workers treating patients only make around $250 a month.
