Lockheed Martin workers reject contract offer, begin picketing outside Texas plant
Workers for Lockheed Martin have begun a strike over what they say is an unfair offer from the company. About a quarter of the workers at the Texas plant are represented by the union. The company says that the plant is functioning normally, and that they believe that they made a fair offer to the union. The union says that the proposed changes to pension and health care are not acceptable.
