London bus workers strike in Olympic pay dispute
London bus workers are striking over a demand for bonus pay during the Olympics. Transport for London, which manages the bus system, said that many routes were disrupted, though some were still running. While three firms were able to get injunctions preventing their employees form striking, workers at 17 other bus companies went on strike. Railway workers in and around London have made deals for bonuses during the Olympics, and the bus drivers say that they deserve the same.
