Low-wage federal workers plan strike as Pope arrives in D.C.
Today, employees represented by Good Job Nations were told to walk off the job and begin to picket in front of Government buildings in anticipation of the Pope's arrival. The employees, who are contracted by the federal government to clean and cook, are demanding a minimum wage of $15 an hour and more collective bargaining rights.
