Employees of the Air and Space Museum and American History Museum participated in a strike on Thursday the 11th, an effort that was arranged by the representative group Good Jobs Nation. Workers called for President Obama to provide a subsistence wage that will meet basic needs of living. The strike was part of multiple demonstrations of recent that have called for increased wages for federal employees, especially following allegations of federal violations in not providing the mandated minimums or overtime payments.
