Lufthansa Stands its Ground as Strikes Costs $247 Million
Lufthansa?s decision to lower costs to remain competitive has resulted in 10 strikes this year. The strikes have now cost the airline over $200 million. The airline has agreed to enter into union arbitration with the pilots, but maintains that its pilots still make 30 to 50% more than employees with their competitors.
