Major companies to start hiring workers, more CEOs say
A new survey found that over 40% of CEOs say that they expect to hire workers in the next six months. This is an increase from the fourth quarter of last year. Around 16% of CEOs said that they expected to cut jobs. The survey also found that companies expected increased sales, as well as capitol spending on the part of the company. Though home prices and consumer confidence are low in March, the unemployment rate has remained at 8.3%
