The Service Employees International Union has launched a virtual labor organization over the Internet. There has been much discussion lately about the decline of labor unions and the need for innovative new strategies to revitalize the movement and attract new members. Andy Stern, president of SEIU, hopes that the Internet will achieve this by connecting people who wish to become involved with organized labor.
