Malloy backs striking Conn. nursing home workers
Connecticut governor Dannel Malloy said that he supports nursing home workers who are strike. The 700 workers are striking over labor conditions that the company imposed. The National Labor Relations Board issued a complaint against the company for failing to bargain in good faith. The Governor said that it was clear that the company is in the wrong. The company said that they were committed to bargaining, and that the union was the one to stop bargaining.
