Many federal workers have gotten at least one shot by today's vaccine deadline
More than 90% of federal employees have received at least dose of the COVID-19 vaccine ahead of today's deadline imposed by President Biden’s vaccine mandate. An additional 5% of workers have requested or received an exemption or extension. For employees who don't comply with the mandate today they will not face immediate dismissal but instead there will be education and counseling for employees who haven't complied in hopes of getting more federal workers fully vaccinated.
