A woman who worked for McDonalds was arrested yesterday after she confronted the CEO of the company about her low wages. The woman had worked at McDonalds for over 10 years and was making only $8.25 per hour. The confrontation was part of a demonstration led by McDonalds workers and Workers Organizing Committee, a worker support organization which has fought for $15-an-hour wage for McDonalds workers.
