On June 7th, the IATSE Local One union resumed bargaining with the Met for the opera’s stagehands who had been locked out since early December and have reached an agreement. The union with vote to ratify the new contract on July 18th. The stagehands will return to work in the opera house today. The Met will now be able to open their season on schedule.
