Some companies say that they are expanding, despite uncertainties about what the financial climate will be. Companies who see a demand for their products say that they are buying or leasing new equipment in order to remain competitive. While they are nervous about the fiscal cliff, they say that without expanding they will lose business. Many of the companies are manufacturers.
