Mets campaign for healthier workplace environment
The New York Mets baseball team have begun a campaign for a safer workplace environment, after their handling of injuries from last year has come under fire. In support of the campaign, many of the players and staffers sport the new campaign logo - the Mets logo superimposed over the New York skyline with the words 'prevention and recovery' written above. The emblem can be seen in the training clubhouse, the locker rooms, etc. as well. Last year over ten players were injured and slowly and improperly rehabbed, essentially ruining the season for the Mets. On the list of injured were Jose Reyes and Carlos Delgado. The Mets players want to make sure to take better precautions and do a better job of fixing up injured players this year.
