Migrant workers go on rampage in China after death
After the death of a migrant worker in China, allegedly by his employer, around 1,000 workers protested. Workers smashed cars and fences in front of a government building. The protest ended when the government ordered the employer to pay $47,300 in compensation to the man's family. The police have also taken the employer into custody. Estimates put the number of such protests around 90,000 a year in China, a problem for the government.
