Minnesota Orchestra Signs Early Deal With Musicians
On Tuesday, the Minnesota Orchestra reached a labor agreement with its musicians that will remain in place until 2020. The deal will add four more musicians to the orchestra and raise the base salary by 8%. The current contract is not set to expire for another 21 months. In the past, contract negotiations have been heated and at one point forced the orchestra to cancel an entire season of shows.
