Minorities 'lose out on training'
A report by the Trades Union Congress, based on data from the Labour Force Survey, shows that ethnic minority workers in the United Kingdom receive less work related training than their white counterparts. Bangladeshi male workers were most affected while Pakistani people also reported difficulties in accessing training. The TUC is pushing for legislation requiring equal access to training for all workers.
