Missouri government workers win right to bargain
Reversing a 60 year-old precedent, the Missouri Supreme Court ruled that public employees can negotiate with government employers. Tuesday's decision came in response to an appeal from the Missouri National Education Association on behalf of employees of the Independence, Mo., School District.
