More companies join the growing list of companies covering travel costs associated with abortion access for workers
Starbucks and MasterCard have announced they will be covering travel costs associated with traveling to access abortions if they are not available where employees live. A spokesperson for MasterCard said, “We will continue to offer employees access to the same health care that is available today wherever they live.” Starbucks said their medical insurance will now cover transportation expenses for workers and their dependents who can’t access abortion procedures within 100 miles of their home.
