More public sector strikes look likely after row over pension contributions
As the British government moves forward with plans to increase pension costs for teachers and other public workers, relationships between the government and public sector unions continue to fray. The government has told the unions that they have to sign a formal offer or be locked out of negotiations. Unions have warned of more strikes as the austerity measures take affect.
