More Than 20,000 AT&T Workers Are Getting Ready to Protest Nationwide
As their contract's expiration date looms, over twenty-one thousand AT&T employees have voted to strike. The vote follows a similar vote held for the phone, Internet, and cable company's employees in Nevada and California last month. AT&T employees have not gone on strike in almost five years. The workers are being represented by the Communication Workers of American and have rejected previous contract offers. CWA officials have not released a timeline for the proposed strike.
