More time spent working but less productivity found in the remote environment
Recent studies suggest that despite remote workers working longer hours, their productivity has lessened. Despite workers spending on average 30% more time working, their productivity fell with more time spent in meetings. One study found a 20% decrease in work output. These findings suggest that less-skilled work is best suited to remote working.
