A survey conducted by the job search engine for tech professionals Dice found that the compensation gap for males and females in the tech industry has narrowed. While the average salary for a male tech worker still weighed in at about $800 more than the average female?s, the survey found that the salaries for men and women with comparable levels of education and experience were equal. Tech professionals say that women bring a diversity of thought to the industry.
