More women take CFO roles
According to recent studies, although a small percentage of the nation's biggest corporations have female CEOs, the number of women being promoted to chief financial officer (CFO) is rising. The number of large companies with a female CFO has grown more than 20% in the last two years. Experts speculate that this is due to women's greater representation in finance-related positions and increased presence in Corporate America.
