More Women Trafficked to Nordic Countries for Labor, Marriage: Police
The United Nations reports that in Baltic and Nordic countries, an increasing number of women are being trafficked there. These women are often used as laborers and wives. It is estimated that women comprise 55% of all forced laborers. The trafficked workers are stripped of their identities, underpaid and overworked.
