More workers take second jobs to get by
More workers are holding multiple jobs. For many, working two jobs is the only way to make enough money to pay their bills and save any money. Part-time work is also sometimes seen as an avenue to a full-time job. Economists say that the trend could grow as the recession continues, and as part-time jobs expand faster than full-time jobs. A new survey shows that more people are taking part-time work to pay for expenses like college or the holidays.
