More workers work through lunch
A new study found that fewer workers are taking breaks for lunch, often working at their desks wile they eat. Many say that the change is due to the amount of work they have, and that working through lunch makes them more productive. The survey found that only a third of workers take a lunch break, with the rest eating at their desks or taking no breaks. Experts say that lunch breaks can increase efficiency and improves the morale of employees, as well as their creativity.
