According to a new report from Pearl Meyer & Partners, CEOs at 179 large companies received on average a 12% raise last year. The study found no clear link between the rising pay and company performance. In fact, the disconnect between pay and performance is increasing despite recent criminal proceeding against high profile CEOs like Martha Steward and Bernard Ebbers.
