Nationwide bus strikes threatened over pay and conditions
Thousands of bus drivers across the UK are threatening nationwide strikes over pay and working conditions. Around 7,500 Unite union members are either already on strike or voting on action in cities including London, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, and Newcastle. The union says drivers face low wages, long hours, and growing abuse on the job, with poor rest breaks and facilities adding to fatigue. If agreements are not reached, more strikes are set to roll out in the coming weeks.
