New initiative formed to help older workers compete in the job market
Recent research has shed light on the importance of digital skills to older workers in the job market. The AARP Foundation and Google have partnered to provide technology trainings to low-income workers 50 and up. The program will begin over the next two years in eight states. They will target women and people of color and hope to serve 25,000 people.
