New Jersey nurses intend to vote union out
Unionized nurses working in a New Jersey nursing home have petitioned to vote to remove their union, and won. The union petitioned to the NLRB to allow them to hold this vote, which was previously not allowed due to a recent ruling that blocked such elections. Once the petition was approved, the NLRB told the union’s regional director to hold a decertification vote. The date of the vote has yet to be determined, however it will most likely pass based on the attitudes of the nurses being represented.
