New Phila union files complaint against board
A complaint was filed Wednesday against the New Philadelphia Board of Education by Ohio Assn. of Public School Employees Local 391, alleging the board engaged in an unfair labor practice by posting its contract proposal along with a union counterproposal online. The union states that board officials attempted to "coerce" employees by making the parties' counterproposals public. The parties are scheduled to meet a federal mediator Friday.
