A Potential Hire
Globally, individuals with disabilities face discouraging unemployment rates. However, recently organizations have begun to recognize the potential benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities. Specifically, in India the passage of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act in 2016 incentivized companies to pursue more inclusive hiring practices to economically benefit their organizations. Indian companies such as RBS have cited how adding individuals with disabilities in their workforce has added value to their company.
