The new leader of a British union, Unite, has announced that she will be working toward unionizing Amazon. Sharon Graham, the union’s new general secretary, said that she is in talks with unions in Germany and the US. She says that her plan is to convince Amazon to sign a neutrality agreement so that warehouse workers will actually join a union without fear of repercussions. To Jeff Bezos she says, “[you] should treat workers fairly, come to the table and sign the neutrality agreement…We’re not going to get bored.”
