New York healthcare workers mandated to be vaccinated against COVID-19
A new vaccine mandate is issued for New York healthcare workers. On Monday, Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a new mandate that requires all healthcare workers in the state to be vaccinated against COVID-19. This mandate follows a previous order in July for all patient-facing workers in state hospitals to get vaccinated. The statement issued on Monday says that “About 75% of the state's roughly 450,000 hospital workers are fully vaccinated.”
