Newly elected graduate student bargaining committee to emphasize social justice in negotiations with Columbia
The graduate student union at Columbia has elected a new bargaining committee. This group of committee members is particularly invested in using their position to advocate for a wide variety of social issues. The new committee intends to support issues such as climate change and anti-gentrification campaigns. While the committee is not sure which work-related issues will take priority at the bargaining table yet, the students are committed to using their platform to advocate for social change.
