Nigerian Court Blocks Upcoming Strike
A Nigerian Court has blocked a general strike by the Nigeria Labor Congress targeting oil production and exports. Unions are unhappy with the government for raising domestic fuel prices by 23 percent. The vice-president of the Nigeria Labor Congress said that the court would not stop them from striking, but the union would be ready to call off its strike threat if fuel prices were reduced.
