Nigerian Oil Unions Halt Strike After Pension Dispute
After a four-day strike, the unions Nupeng and Pengassan suspended the strike over union representation and pensions. Nigeria controls 2 percent of the world?s oil, however consultants say that the strike did not affect the country?s exports. More than 70 percent of government revenue in Nigeria comes from oil exports.
