Nike and Coca-Cola Lobbyists Fight Back Against The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act
Nike and Coca-Cola are among the major companies and business groups lobbying Congress to weaken the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act is a bill that would ban imported goods made with forced labor in China’s Xinjiang region. As of now, the bill has received bipartisan support and will easily pass through the Senate. However, lobbyists have argued that the legislation will wreak havoc on the supply chain.
