Nine cases on union power are being heard in the 9th Circuit on Tuesday
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Portland, Oregon is set to hear nine separate cases by government employees in regard to limiting a union’s power. They are seeking to limit the ability for unions to deduct dues from their paychecks and not allow resignation from membership. These cases are hoping to expand on the 2018 Supreme Court case Janus v. AFSCME.
