NLRB claims that Amazon CEO violated labor law by telling employees they could be negatively affected by unions
On Wednesday, the NLRB filed a claim against the Amazon CEO, alleging that the comments he made to multiple news outlets in interviews have interfered with employees guaranteed right to organize. As such, there is a hearing scheduled regarding the complaint, and the NLRB has requested that Amazon send workers information outlining their labor rights. This complaint follows shortly after the allegations of unfair labor practices and intimidation involved in the failed Albany warehouse union vote.
