NLRB announces second union vote for Amazon workers
The NLRB announced on Tuesday that a second union election would be held for workers at an Amazon facility in Alabama. The NLRB found that Amazon violated federal labor laws in August during their previous election and said in their notice to eligible voters that Amazon “interfered with the employee’s exercise of a free and reasoned choice.” The vote will be held through secret mail-in ballots with the official counting of the ballots set to occur in March.
